The time has arrived for the humble six pack of beer in Pennsylvania. Starting on Saturday, beer distributors in the state will be allowed to sell beer by the six-pack and growler for the first time, reducing it from the previous limit of a 12-pack the Pennsylvaia Liquor Control Board would allow. The new measure comes from the legislative changes to the state liquor code enacted last year, brining to an end law that required distributors to only sell by the case. The new law also allows distributors to sell growlers as well.
